Fairfield Giants Cheer Team Ready For National Stage

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield Giants Junior Midget cheer team is ready and waiting in Florida to strut its stuff in the Pop Warner National Cheer and Dance championships.

The girls left Fairfield on Friday and arrived in Orlando, Fla., over the weekend. They will compete on Wednesday.

The girls qualified to compete in the Pop Warner cheerleading nationals by winning the New England Regional title last month.

Team members are Isabelle Abbott, Sabrina Behboudi, Grace Carrol, Fiona Carter, Aidan Gombos, Emily Haithwaite, Cassie Llewellyn, Joanna Moomjian, Michaela Murdock, Kayla O'Hara, Catherine Ptenza, Kylie Ramirez, Madison Rodrigues, Haley Sepot, Jenna Simonelli and Teddie Tarczali.

Coaches are Victoria Scheff, Seri Pasmeg, Sydney Boland, Amy Mulla and Emma Pippert.
