Fairfield Giants Pee Wee Football Blanks Trumbull

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield Giants Pee Wee team used a balanced attack to beat the Trumbull Rangers, 26-0, over the weekend to improve to 5-2 on the season.

Owen Cirilli passed to Phillip Pasmeg for a 20-yard touchdown to get the scoring started for the Giants. Griffin Donahue, Ian Bartlett and Cirilli ran for touchdowns. Fifteen players carried the ball for the Giants in the second half, and the defense allowed one first down. Fairfield plays New Haven this weekend in its final regular season game.

The Junior Pee Wee Giants 2 dropped a tough 7-0 decision to Seymour. Declan O'Hara and Nicholas Morris led the defense, along with Jack Melbourne and Finn Donelan. Seymour scored the game-winning touchdown with four minutes left and recovered an onsides kick to seal the victory.

The Pee Wee Giants 1 defeated New Haven, 12-6, to improve to 4-3. The Junior Midgets whacked Waterbury, 33-7, and are 5-2.The Mitey Mites also picked up a 36-6 win over Seymour.
