The team of Cassandra Factora, Brianna Auray, Keegan Simonsen, and Alyssa Kraus ran 12:20.23. The race consists of legs of 400, 800, 1,200 and 1,600 meters.
The team is comprised exclusively of underclassmen and is coached by Kelly Renna. The time is ranked No. 61 in the country. Coginchaug won the race in 11:50.05, the ninth fastest time in the United States this year. Immaculate of Danbury also qualified with a third place finish in 12:09.47. Greenwich took fourth and also qualified in 12:11.13.
The New Balance Nationals Outdoor meet, the preeminent high school track and field meet in the nation, will be held June 17-19 in Greensboro, N.C.
