Fairfield Resident Honored At Connecticut Swimming Awards Banquet

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Fairfield resident Ella Cowan de Wolf was honored at the Connecticut Swimming Awards Banquet held last month at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville.

The banquet was held in recognition of outstanding performances during the 2012-13 season, including 2013 scholar-athletes and the top 16 times in each individual event.

A student at Miss Porter's School in Farmington, de Wolf was recognized for being 10th in the open water championship and 13th in the 1,500-meter freestyle.

Porter's varsity swim team is led by Head Coach Katie Riccoban and Coach Kristine Ellegard.
