FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Triathletes from Fairfield ran, swam and rode bikes Sunday in the Mossman Sprint Triathlon at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk. The race attracted nearly 700 competitors, and they swam a half-mile, rode bikes for 12.5 miles and completed the race with a 3.1-mile run.
Taylor Peterson was the top finisher from Fairfield, taking ninth overall and first in the men's 15-19-year-old division. Other top finishers from Fairfield included Kimberly Driscoll and Mary Money, who were second and third, respectively, in the women's 50-54 division. Claise Patton finished first in the women's 65-69-year-old division. Dillon Otten was 26th overall and fourth in the men's 15-19 age group. Complete results are available online .
