FAIRFIELD, Conn. — The Fairfield University Women’s Basketball team has unveiled its 2015-16 schedule.

On the heels of its eighth straight winning campaigns under Head Coach Joe Frager, the Stags open their season Friday, Nov. 13 against La Salle University.

Frager is the first coach in league history to have eight-straight winning conference records to begin a career. The Stags also advanced to the MAAC semifinals last year.

Fairfield will play its MAAC conference opener Wednesday, Dec. 2, hosting Iona College.

'"Getting the MAAC schedule signifies one more step toward the 2015-16 season," Frager said in a press release. "It helps our staff with scouting preparation and both our players and coaches are excited about tackling the challenges ahead."

Following the game against the Gaels, conference foe Marist College makes the trip to “Stags Country” Sunday, Dec. 6.

Defending MAAC champion Quinnipiac visits Fairfield Jan. 22.

The Stags will finish on the road for their last four games of the regular season at Siena (Feb. 17), Marist (Feb. 21), Iona (Feb. 24) and Quinnipiac (Feb. 26).
