Two Fairfield Middle Schoolers Advance To Eastern Ski Championships

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Two middle school students from Fairfield have advanced to the under-14 Eastern alpine skiing championships recently. 

Mackenzie Laurion, a seventh-grader at Roger Ludlowe Middle School and Jack Shea, a seventh-grader from Tomlinson Middle School both advanced from a field of 85 boys and 85 girls. 

The Eastern Regionals were held recently at Stowe Mountain, where Laurion advanced to the Can-Am races held in Park City, Utah.
