Lehigh County Man Charged With Raping Bethlehem Child
A Lehigh County man was arraigned Thursday on charges that he raped a child in Bethlehem, according to news reports and court records.
Eldis Javier Rivera-Rodriguez, 40, of Fountain Hill, was arrested after the child, whom he knew, told a camp counselor about the sexual assaults which began in 2019, LehighValleyLive reports.
The child also told investigating officers of a May 2020 rape at Rivera-Rodriguez's then Bethlehem basement apartment, the outlet says.
