FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Former Fairfield resident James "Jim" J. Boyle died May 2 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. He was 87. 

The son of Martin and Bridget Fallon Boyle of County Sligo, Ireland, he was born March 27, 1925. Most recently a resident of Shelton, Boyle previously lived in Fairfield and Stratford.
