FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Black Rock Turnpike/Route 58 was closed in both directions Monday afternoon at Rock Ridge Road in Fairfield after a truck accident took out a utility pole and wires, according to the Department of Transportation.

The truck rolled over a guard rail and pulled down a utility pole and wires, according to the Connecticut Post.
No injuries were reported, but it was not clear when the road would reopen.
