FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Plummeting evening temperatures could have Fairfield County residents dealing with yet another shot of snow on Tuesday night, according to the National Weather Service.
Showers will threaten the area Tuesday, mainly after 5 p.m., with a high near 41 degrees. Showers will become more likely overnight and may change over to snow as temperatures drop below freezing. The chance of precipitation is 50 percent, with minimal accumulations.
Sunny skies will return Wednesday, but temperatures will remain chilly in the mid-40s.
A warming trend will begin Thursday, with sun and high temperatures of about 54 degrees.
Friday will be partly sunny with a high of 60 degrees but with a 40 percent chance of showers.
