FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- This week is expected to be sunny in Fairfield County, though the National Weather Service warns that there could be an increased risk of fires.
The dry conditions with humidity values of 15 to 25 percent, dry fine fuels and higher than normal temperatures bring an increased potential for fire weather, the National Weather Service announced.
Monday's forecast calls for a high near 75 degrees Fahrenheit and southeast wind around 7 miles per hour, with increasing clouds and a low of around 48.
Tuesday is projected to mostly sunny in the day with a high of 69 and clear at night with a low of 42. Sunshine is projected once again for Wednesday, with a projected high of 60 and a low of 41 on a mostly clear night.
