The rain is expected to begin tonight mainly after midnight, when there is a 40 percent chance of rain. The low will be around 34, and a light and variable wind is expected.
Rain will overspread the area in full force Friday morning, when there is a 100 percent chance of rain. The high will be near 38, with wind chill values between 25 and 30. The rain may mix with sleet, freezing rain and even snow at times, and a light slushy accumulation is possible. Friday night will be breezy, with wind between 18 and 22 mph, and gusts as high as 32 mph. The chance of precipitation will continue to be 100 percent.
Saturday will continue to be rainy, particularly in the morning. The high will be near 44 and the north wind will be between 13 and 16 mph. The chance of precipitation is 80 percent, and should taper off during the day. But Saturday night will still be cold, with a low around 32 and mostly cloudy skies.
The spring weather could return to the area on Sunday, which will start mostly cloudy, then become gradually sunny. The high will be near 53. Sunday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 34. Monday will be partly sunny and warm, but there is a 50 percent chance that rain will be back on Tuesday.
