FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce will hold its 70th annual Meeting & Awards Dinner on Wednesday, June 29, at the Brooklawn Country Club in Fairfield.
“This will be a very special evening," says Beverly A. Balaz, president of the chamber, "as we will be honoring Kleban Properties LLC as Company of the Year, accepted by Ken Kleban, president … and we will honor Norma Pfriem Breast Center as Non-Profit Organization of the Year, accepted by Donna Twist, Ph.D., executive director/Norma Pfriem Breast Center and VP development, Bridgeport Hospital Foundation.
"Both Kleban Properties LLC and Norma Pfriem Breast Center have immensely contributed to the community in a variety of different ways, providing help and support where they can … and as such, we want to acknowledge and recognize their contributions, accomplishments and achievements.” Balaz continued. “In addition, we have an exceptional guest speaker, Bob Santy, president and CEO of CERC (Connecticut Economic Resource Center). Bob will present an overview of what resources are available to our business community and also give an overview of their research and current economic development assessment, on the local and county level … and what we can expect in the future.”
Tickets cost $75 per person, and an RSVP by Wednesday, June 22, is requested. Seats are limited, and no walk-ins will be allowed.
Brooklawn Country Club is at 500 Algonquin Road, Fairfield.
