Updated: FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — A weather forecast calling for rain and possible thunderstorms has thrown a wrench into some carefully made plans in some towns in Fairfield County.
Yes, you can enjoy your hot dogs and hamburgers on Monday — but you may have to cook and eat indoors.
And don't forget to salute the men and women who have died serving our country. Many events and parades were planned in towns and cities across Fairfield County, but some were canceled by Sunday evening. Others were waiting until Monday morning to decide whether to go forward. And some events will go on rain or shine.
The following is a sample of planned events. Check before you head out. Please email photos to the Daily Voice of any Memorial Day events you attend.
