Westport's Black Duck Is Finalist In DVlicious Burger Contest

WESTPORT, Conn. -- The burger, America's quintessential comfort food, can be dressed up (think Kobe beef, an expensive cheese, a housemade bun) or down (as in simple ketchup, maybe a pickle). Anyway you flip it, it's a winner.

Worth Special Mention: Black Duck features many burgers that are an homage to Westport history, including the Ship's Burger, which is named after the Ship's Lantern, whose storefront is now occupied by Tiffany's.

According to Owner Peter Aikin, the restaurant serves about 100 burgers a day.
