Stamford's SilverSource Appoints New Board Of Trustees To Help Seniors

STAMFORD, Conn. — SilverSource Inc. — a Stamford-based nonprofit organization that advocates for the needs of older adults and their families — recently appointed four new members to its board of trustees, as well as the full slate of officers and board members.

Kelly, SilverSource Board Chair. “They embody the spirit of community, and their experience and proven business leadership will serve SilverSource well. We are fortunate to have them by our side as we continue to grow as a leader in supporting older adults and their families in southern Fairfield County.”

Rauh’s career has been dedicated to developing high-quality programs that provide access and success for all children, youth and families. She’s held positions as Stamford teacher, principal, district administrator as well as superintendent in New York State.

Her work as a school district-level leader and community champion is well-known, and she has served on many boards throughout the region.

Burns held the executive director position at River House Adult Day Center for 25 years. She is credited with building River House (previously known as Greenwich Adult Day Care) into one of Connecticut's leading providers of daycare for older adults.

During her tenure, Burns expanded and enhanced the services provided to clients, caregivers and the community, improving the lives of seniors and their families throughout the region.

Burns, who is president of the Connecticut Geriatric Society, lives in Greenwich and is actively engaged in promoting the well-being of older adults throughout Fairfield County.

Goldstein is a senior consultant at Marks Paneth. Bringing more than 40 years of experience to this position, his distinguished career includes extensive experience in public accounting and taxation as well as in financial management within private industry.

Before joining Marks Paneth, Goldstein held the position of partner at Leipziger & Breskin. He is actively involved in both the American Institute of CPAs and the New York State Society of CPAs, and is a frequent speaker on tax matters.

Neems is an independent consultant with more than 35 years of experience in credit, asset management, private equity investing, business building and executive management in both public and private companies.

He has held positions as chief operating officer and a member of the Investment and Funds Committee of CIFC Asset Management, Co-CEO, CFO and a founder of Callidus Capital Management, and co-managing partner of Advanta Partners, LP.

Neems lives in Stamford with his wife, where they raised three sons.
