Fairfield Prep Student, 14, Killed In Car Crash In Virginia

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A 14-year-old boy from Fairfield was killed Tuesday in a car crash in King George County in Virginia, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reported.

The accident occurred on the Virginia-Maryland border on the eastern coast.

Joseph E. Kulaga was a student at Fairfield Prep, where he was a member of the crew team, according to the Connecticut Post. 

In the crash, a Honda Pilot driven by Joseph's father, Mark E. Kulaga, 46, went off Route 301, stuck a tree and overturned, the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

Mark Kulaga was charged with reckless driving, the story said.
