Family, Friends Seek Safe Return Of Dog Lost Off Merritt Parkway

EASTON, Conn. — The family and friends of a dog that went missing Sunday near the borders of Fairfield, Easton, Bridgeport and Trumbull are seeking its safe return.  

Jasmine, a 5-year-old female brindle/white Pitbull mix weighing about 45 pounds, has been missing from Easton since Aug. 9.

Jasmine, a 5-year-old female brindle/white Pitbull mix weighing about 45 pounds, has been missing from the Easton area since Aug. 9. She was last seen near Exit 46 for the Easton Turnpike off the Merritt Parkway in Fairfield.

A friend of the owner said the dog is very friendly but shy with strangers. She is asking anyone who might find the dog to take a photo and call 203-814-6763.

The friend also saids there is a reward for information leading to Jasmine’s safe return.

The area around Exit 46 includes the GE corporate property, Sacred Heart University, the Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course and Lake Mohegan Recreation Area.
