FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A Bridgeport man was arrested Sunday after he caused a disturbance at a Post Road restaurant's beer fest, ducked into another restaurant for no apparent reason and then refused police commands outside, police said.
Lawrence Kendricks, 27, of Capital Avenue, was charged with interfering with an officer and breach of peace around 5:15 p.m., police said.
A police lieutenant at the scene saw a group leaving the Craft 260 Beer Fest Celebration with Kendricks, who became aggressive with another member of the group, police said.
Kendricks, who appeared “extremely intoxicated,” then entered a nearby restaurant, Shiki Hana Japanese Bistro, causing a disturbance there before officers detained him outside, police said.
He was released on a promise to appear in court on May 15, police said.
