Bridgeport Police Host Coat Drive For Those In Need

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The Bridgeport Police Department is hosting a coat drive for adults and children in need through the month of January.

The coat drive will last through Friday, Jan. 26. New or gently-used coats can be dropped off at a number of locations  throughout the city between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Donations will be accepted at the following locations:

  • Bridgeport Police Community Services Division, 1395 Sylvan Ave.
  • Bridgeport Police Department Headquarters, 300 Congress St.
  • Bridgeport City Hall, 45 Lyon Terrace
  • Bridgeport CityHall Annex, 999 Broad St.
  • Bridgeport Emergency Operations Center, 581 North Washington Ave.
