FAIRFIELD, Conn. — An Easton woman was arrested for shoplifting Sunday when she left a Black Rock Turnpike grocery store without paying for a bag of items, police said.
Monica Dinardo, 30, of Morning Glory Circle, was charged with sixth-degree larceny around 5:30 p.m. after a ShopRite clerk saw her grab a package of cookies and leave the store without paying for anything, police said.
She walked out with about $58 worth of groceries concealed in a bag she was carrying, police said.
She was released on a promise to appear in court on June 23.
