One person was shot on I-95 in Fairfield County in what might have been a road-rage incident, Connecticut State Police confirmed to Daily Voice late Monday morning.
The gunshots were reported around 9:20 a.m. Monday on northbound I-95 near exit 30 in Stratford, according to Trooper Kelly Grant.
The victim was transported to the hospital for evaluation of what appears to be a non-life-threatening injury, Grant said.
The investigation into whether the incident was a result of road rage is ongoing.
