Officers found Nicholas Iacurci, 32, of Cedar Court, lying on the sidewalk outside Crave, a restaurant that has been the scene of several altercations in recent months, police said.

Iacurci had gotten into a fight with his girlfriend and grabbed her by the neck around 12:30 a.m., when the restaurant owner asked them to leave, police said. He struck the woman in the chest when they were outside and took a swing at the owner, who tried to intervene, police said.

Iacurci, who had a cut on his lip, was taken by ambulance to Bridgeport Hospital, where police said he continued his aggressive behavior. He was released on a promise to appear in court on a disorderly conduct charge.
