FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A Sacred Heart University student was arrested on drug and trespassing charges, after he was found with suspected cocaine at a large party Friday night at Fairfield University, police said.
Liam Robertson, 18, of Round Hill Road, Fairfield, had previously been warned not to trespass at Fairfield University and had signed a letter on Sept. 5, 2015 stating he would not return, police said.
University Public Safety officers found him at a party at the campus townhouses shortly after midnight and, when they attempted to stop him, he threw alcohol on their feet and ran, police said.
He was detained and searched and police found a substance that tested positive for cocaine in his wallet, police said.
Robertson was arrested for possession of narcotics and first-degree criminal trespass, police said. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Sept. 30, police said.
