FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A Trumbull man faces a narcotics charge after Fairfield police said they found him in possession of cocaine in April.
Police said Philip Passero, 23, of Quail Trail, turned himself in to Fairfield police Monday. He was charged with possession of narcotics and released on a promise to appear in court on July 28, police said.
On April 2, a patrol officer saw four men get into a Volkswagen in a Miller Street parking lot, getting back out about five minutes later wiping their noses, police said.
The officer stopped the men and found a small clear bag containing a white substance that later tested positive as cocaine on the car floor, according to police. Passero was identified as the bag’s owner, police said.
