Fairfield Police are asking the public for help in identifying several suspects who allegedly ripped off an ATM machine from inside a business.

The theft took place sometime between 12:30 and 4:30 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 20 at the Wash Tub Laundromat, 332 Tunxis Hill Road, said Lt. Robert Kalamaras.

A follow-up investigation revealed, the front glass window to the laundromat was broken to make entry and the individuals can be seen getting out of one car and into another vehicle during the time frame of the robbery.

Detectives also discovered there was a similar incident reported in Stamford on Monday, Nov. 5.  In the Stamford case, a glass window to a business was also broken and the ATM was taken.

Anyone with information about the incident or suspects is asked to call the Fairfield Police Department Detective Division at 203-254-4840.
