Man Charged With Murder, Rape Following Assault In Maryland, Police Say
A suspect has been apprehended on rape and murder charges following an incident involving an elderly woman and juvenile in Harford County on Thursday, according to the Bel Air Police Department. On Feb. 22, officers from the department were called to the 700 block of Bedford Road to investigate an assault, where they found 73-year-old Mary Catherine Bland suffering from stab wounds, and a teen girl who sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Thirty kilos of cocaine and other substances worth more than $3 million were seized during a recent drug bust in Maryland, police said. A search warrant carried out at the home of Willians Quintanilla Beltran on W. Park Drive in Langley Park turned up 30 kilos of cocaine, 25 ounces of cocaine laced with fentanyl, 37 grams of methamphetamine and more than $120,000 in cash, Prince George’s County Police Department said in a Thursday, Feb. 22 release. Driver Killed, Others Injured In Overnight Baltimore Crash: Police
A 37-year-old man was killed in an overnight crash in Baltimore, police confirmed. Western District officers responded to the two-vehicle crash near the 1800 block of Edmondson Avenue just after 12:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 22. Adult, Child Killed In Multi-Vehicle Baltimore Crash: Police
An adult and a child were killed in an early morning crash in Baltimore’s Eastern District on Wednesday, Feb. 21, police confirmed. The crash occurred near the 3500 block of Belair Road around 7:30 a.m., a representative with the Baltimore Police Department told Daily Voice. Officers arrived and found a child dead at the scene.
