A deadly crash involving a tractor-trailer has closed all lanes along a stretch of Interstate 81 in central Pennsylvania, according to the Pennsylvania department of transportation. The shutdown is between Exit 100: PA 443 - PINE GROVE and Exit 90: PA 72 - LEBANON starting at 8:17 a.m. on Friday, July 15, PennDOT says. The crash is fatal and involves a van and a tractor-trailer, according to Schuykill County emergency dispatchers. It is unknown how many people were hurt or how long the road will remain shuttered. A multi-vehicle crash involving a box car has closed all eastbound lanes of US Route 30 on Monday, July 11, according to the Pennsylvania department of transportation. The crash happened by the exit for Exit: PA 741 - MILLERSVILLE/ROHRERSTOWN in East Hempfield Township at 10:46 a.m., authorities say. The box truck involved was supposedly hit in the side and split open, spilled its unknown contents unto the roadway, dispatchers say.
