A couple from York, PA died in a Virginia motorcycle crash earlier this month, authorities said. Bill Winemiller and his wife, Jane Winemiller, were heading east on Route 7 on a 2017 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when it rear-ended a 2018 Honda Civic stopped for a red light at the intersection of Harry Byrd Highway and Main Street in Clarke County around 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 3, according to Virginia State Police. A Pennsylvania man has been charged in connection with a fatal high-speed crash in South Jersey, authorities said. Theresa Karbach, 69, of Cherry Hill, died as a result of injuries from the crash in Lawnside on May 13 at about 9:30 p.m., according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay. Anwar Parham, 29, of North Wales, PA, was charged with death by auto, driving with a suspended license and assault by auto, MacAulay said. Another man is in police custody for the Scranton murder of 36-year-old Benjamin Thompson. Quamir Robinson was arrested at his Dunmore home on Tuesday, May 21, city police said in a release. Bryan Hagerich will avoid jail time and pay a fine of $6,700 after being accused of bringing ammunition to the British territory of Turks and Caicos, 6abc reports. Carbon County Motorcyclist, 33, Killed In Whitehall Crash: Coroner
Authorities are investigating the crash that killed a Penn Forest man on Thursday night, May 23. James J. Gallagher, 33, was riding his motorcycle on Fullerton Avenue in Whitehall when he lost control and struck a curb, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg where he died from multiple traumatic injuries around 8:50 p.m., the Coroner said. His manner of death was ruled accidental. Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a 43-year-old man who was found with stolen firearms while driving on a suspended license in Montgomery County, police said.
