Westport Church Celebrates Installation Of Fifth Pastor In 96 Years WESTPORT, Conn. — St. Paul Westport has something to be thankful for this Thanksgiving — the church’s new pastor. Pastor Bradley D. Knorr was installed as the Lutheran church’s new senior pastor at a special service on Nov. 19. Knorr is the fifth pastor of the 96-year-old congregation on Easton Road. He takes the helm as Pastor Paul Teske retired after 28 years of service. Teske is now the church’s pastor at large. Born in Nebraska, Knorr received his master of divinity degree from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. He most recently served as youth pastor at King of Kings Omaha.

Bridgeport Gives Thanks To Veterans With Free Turkey Day Fixings BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — The city’s Veterans Affairs office made Turkey Day a little tastier for dozens of veterans, passing out bags of free Thanksgiving trimmings at their East Main Street offices Monday. “We’re in the time of gratitude at Thanksgiving,” said Health Director Martiza Bond, overseeing the annual distribution. City workers had already donated to about 60 vets in the first 20 minutes of the distribution.
